Sitka Center Art

Sitka Center for Art & Ecology – art in the garden at sunset

I can’t believe I haven’t made time to blog about my class at the Sitka Center in Otis, Oregon. It was a wonderful time of creativity, for myself and for my class. I had 10 eager, hard-working, adventurous students who produced some excellent work in the three days. We only wished that the class had been longer!

Before I share more photos, I need to remind you to stop by my studio this weekend! I’m hosting an Open Studio event, along with some of my excellent neighbors – Read all about it online here. You’ll be able to ask questions about color, decor, display options or process. I will be demonstrating different techniques each day. See how I’ve re-organized my room for a more efficient layout.

You’ll find a free, printable map (I’m studio #2) here. Watch for the bright Yellow “Open Studios of Beavercreek” sign, just after the sharp curves on Leland Rd near Stone Creek Golf Course. We are looking forward to your visit: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, October 10, 11 & 12,  from 10-5.
