One of the best ways to enjoy good news is to share it with a friend… This week I learned that my painting, “Learning to Fly”, was accepted by juror Linda Doll to the 41st Annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition in Golden, Colorado.
This marks the fourth time that my work has been included in this prestigious show, and qualifies me for Signature Status in the group.
I was doubly glad to hear that my friend Ruth Ellen Hoag had a painting accepted and also achieved Signature Status! Ruth is a close friend and it is wonderful to share this milestone with her!
“Friendship improves happiness and abates misery, by the doubling of our joy and the dividing of our grief.” –Marcus Tullius Cicero
Here is another of my new paintings from the workshop in Ventura… a special time shared with Ruth Ellen! I hope you will visit her website and see her fabulous work.
I’m planning a workshop with Ruth here in the Portland area this fall!
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think of the new work. If you like it, share it on your favorite social media! I appreciate your referrals.
Congrats! Be sure to let me know the details of the workshop when it comes up!
