I wrote a bit about my painting process for this work in my post: https://rutharmitage.com/blog-hop/ where you can see a video of part of my process, but I think the painting deserves its own post. I’ve entered this work in the National Watercolor Society’s Annual Exhibition, and I will soon find out whether or not it is accepted out of the thousands of entries submitted. Cross your fingers for me 🙂
