A new painting in the series “Down on the Farm.” This painting was inspired by the colors of spring on my parent’s farm: Trillium, lambs, new grass, tulips, cool river, clouds and blue sky. I’m wondering what words you would use to describe it to someone who couldn’t see it? Leave me a comment!

It looks like something you would see from an airplane when you are close to landing in Europe, although I’m not sure what the white would represent, perhaps a sand quarry. The yellow reminds me of rape fields.
Thanks Gloria… Great description!
PS, Gloria: We have a crop in the Willamette Valley that is currently in bloom called Meadowfoam. It blooms white! Gorgeous contrast with all the greens!
Cool, lush and verdant! I’ve loved watching where “Down on the Farm” has taken you! I think Skip would be pleased!
I love those words, Norene! Definitely what I had in mind for this painting 🙂 Thank you!
I’ve been enjoying your compositions and colors very much in this series, Ruth.
Thank you Rob!
