This is the first in a series of images I’m working on. My son & I took a trip to Yellowstone National Park several years ago, just the two of us. He is a geology major, and it was wonderful to see his eyes light up when watching the geysers, but I enjoyed the natural scenic beauty, the hiking and viewing the animals!
Waterfalls have always attracted me, and I have been working on different versions of this painting. More to follow in the coming days, I’m sure.

I have been working on Yupo a lot lately. Love the stuff! We have decided to leave Alaska and head back to Oregon as soon as can sell the place here. So glad I kept up my WS) membership. There are so many beautiful place to paint up here I am going to be very busy taking reference photos of SE Alaska for future paintings.
