I don’t think I’ve posted this painting before. I finished it before Christmas, and never got around to posting it, as far as I can tell! It evolved over a long period of time. It is a pleasure to work so large and acrylic offered the chance for multiple revisions. I’v just finished another large painting this weekend and will post it in the next few days after I get it photographed.
I do love the colors of this piece and the upper portion with the umbrella lost in the foliage. I am distracted by the exaggerated height of the figure.
