I’ve been out of touch for so long that one of my friends thought I’d been in a serious accident! No… just been on vacation! First of all, here is the photo of my favorite orchid, which is now almost through blooming 🙁

I love this one because of it’s spectacular and unusual lemony fragrance. I bought it from Camano Island Orchids (I think that is what they call it) on a trip to visit my friend Donna.

I’d also like to share a video of the kind of trip I went on this past week. Our family enjoyed a fun and adventure-filled three days kayaking on the Lower Salmon River in Idaho with Orange Torpedo Trips. What a great group to go with! They take care of all the packing & planning, and make sure you are safe while you’re on the river. Cooking, cleaning, you don’t have to do any of it! Here is a video of the kind of water we braved… class 2 & 3 rapids and one class 4 🙂 We paddled and floated 55 miles in 3 days. It was a blast, despite the thunderstorms in the area. Thanks so much guys! I will post more photos later.
For now, all the things I had on the trip are wet & need to be washed!
