I just published my monthly newsletter. I love how good the computer can make everything look 🙂 My chaotic schedule is magically transformed into easily digested segments and promo-bits 🙂 Check out a preview HERE if you haven’t already received it! You may want to subscribe (in the sidebar of my blog) for special offers that I give only to subscribers.
This past weekend I delivered work to “Pulse” and River Gallery in preparation for this month’s showings. James Kirk’s show will feature a retrospective of his work, alongside some of the many students he mentored in his long teaching career. I will be at the opening reception on Saturday!
I was so inspired by all the artwork Mary Lou Zeek has pulled together for “Pulse,”  I decided to create a little one minute video… I hope you enjoy it!

Here is the painting I created for the show, inspired by Medical Imagery. The show benefits the Medical Foundation of Marion and Polk Counties. In creating the piece I wanted to focus on one of my most treasured organs… the eye.
I hope you can join us! The show opens this Friday night, and runs one week only, 11-5 daily at 211 Commecial St, Salem, Oregon. From the looks of the 30 artists included, it is going to be fabulous.
Think I need to move to Oregon 🙂 Laura
That would be so fun, Laura! Thanks for reading & commenting 🙂
Lovely, Ruth! You give me great courage to explore the southwest deserts, lakes, mountains and streams in new ways!
Thank you Mary 🙂
