Amidst the hubub of holiday entertaining, deck repair and health issues, I’ve been notified that my painting, “New Vista” has been accepted in the 2nd Annual Signature American Watercolor Exhibition. The exhibition will be held in Fallbrook, California at the Fallbrook Art Center. The show opens with an artist’s Reception: February 5, 2011 (5-7PM) and Closes March 13, 2011. It’s an honor to be included in this prestigious exhibition! Entries were limited to artists who hold signature membership in one of a handful of watercolor societies across the nation. Usually signature membership is earned through repeated inclusion in a society’s shows, or by recognition by a panel of jurists. I probably won’t be able to attend, but I’m looking forward to seeing the quality artwork chosen by juror Linda Doll.
