The painting above is the finished version of the demonstration that I started at the Emerald Art Center on November 11. It is based on a childhood memory of running away from home.

I’m offering a workshop next weekend, November 9, 10 & 11, at the Emerald Art Center in Springfield, Oregon.
In ‘Light Your Creative Spark’ we will be studying ways to enhance creativity through the use of mixed water media, quick studies and design elements. The three days will be chock full of creative inspiration. The class is only $185 for members of EAC or $205 for non-members. I promise to make it worth your investment.
One of my favorite things about classes that I’ve taught is that each student’s individuality shines through. The paintings that are created in my classes are born of each students’ unique ideas, not my ideas. None of the work ends up looking like my work; it ends up looking like yours! (Only better!) The Emerald Art Center is a great facility, and is close to the Eugene Regional Airport and to lodging.
