I’m thrilled that juror Mary Ann Beckwith has selected my painting “Meanderings” for WSO’s Spring Exhibition in Albany, Oregon. I grew up going to school in Albany, and I’m looking forward to an exhibit in my hometown. Each spring and fall, the Watercolor Society of Oregon sponsors an exhibition juried by a nationally recognized artist in conjunction with a workshop for members and subscribers. I always look forward to catching up with other painters from around the state, learning new methods, seeing new materials and some fine art.
The competition is stiff, and I feel lucky to be included with 79 other artists from across the entire state. The opening reception will be Saturday, April 6 from 4:30-6 pm at Albany City Hall. I will be presenting a color demonstration in conjunction with the conference, and hope to see some of you there! Registration is open now, contact the Watercolor Society to sign up.
Congratulations Ruth!!
Congratulations Ruth! This is such an exciting painting, and mysterious! I love the way I could just look at it awhile and keep finding something new.
So glad for you! Thanks for all you are doing for WSO fund raising. Really enjoyed
the center piece project.
Thank you ladies 🙂 Peggy, I don’t know how, but your comment ended up in spam! I just found it this morning! Thanks for reading 🙂
